Fast Track Keyboard Series by Hal Leonard
This is a series of books that is also written for Guitar, Bass, Drums, Singing. The last section of the book in each instrument has the same songs and so you can play with others and form a band.
E-Z Play Today Sheet Music by Hal Leonard
There is a great range of music in this series.
It is great for beginners as the notes are large and the note names are shown in the note heads. The chord symbols are above the notes.
You could have lots of fun with a book or 2 from this series to play alongside the Fast Track Series.
Genres of Keyboard Sheet Music
Once you have learnt a range of notes on the keyboard you will be able to play a variety of music. I highly recommend getting a music book of interest to play alongside any method book you are on.
